Come join The Bennington Garden Club on Tuesday, October 22nd at 10:00 AM at The Bennington Museum for a free presentation by Paul Burns, Executive Director of VPIRG.  He will tell us about the legislative initiatives VPIRG has under way for the coming session:  Revitalizing the Enhanced Bottle Bill, plastic packaging reduction, continuing the reduction of PFAS in consumer products, and reduction in use of harmful pesticides in our state.  There are a lot of environmental and health initiatives to talk about, and Paul is going to coach us to be better advocates for legislative change.  It is legislation that will have the greatest impact on suppliers and manufacturers, pressuring them to utilize better, healthier alternatives; and we have the power to influence our elected officials to take action.  Register here https://www.vpirg.org/beatplasticpollution.
